I don’t know how to put this lightly so I’m just gonna throw it out there. Most people’s beliefs around money are bonkers. If you want the shift the Benjamin$ vortex in your favor, you have to be open to a new way of thinking. Let’s talk about 3 powerful ways you can bend the law of abundance and attraction in your favor and shift money in your direction.
When it comes to the law of attraction, or simply wanting a more successful life, many people start by identifying their need or want for more moolah (completely focused on lack). And this isn’t a surprise. Money, or lack of it, has a big effect on many of the other areas of our lives.
Money is energy. It’s a resource.
One that most people misuse, abuse, and don’t completely understand. You see, money loves focus and intention but many people just go through the motions of earning the same old ways, paying the same old bills, even spending follows a predictable pattern in someone with faulty money beliefs.
Don’t even get me started on the word “budget”. Nothing like shouting out to the entire Universe that you’re restricting yourself because you don’t believe in abundance.
Does this mean people shouldn’t plan? No. As I said, money loves intention and focus. But “budgeting” is by nature restrictive so let’s ditch that word from our vocab em-k!
Ok, onto the the tips!
Identify Your Money Beliefs
Babe, this article is full of some tough love.
Identifying money beliefs is not as easy as one might think. We sit down, do the steps we find online and….six months later we’re still broke AF or in the same dang place we were when we started.
This is likely because the beliefs we wrote down were surface level only or, we identified the beliefs but didn’t have a clue what to do with them or how to give them a serious overhaul. Which is why my coaching program for this stuff is 3+ months long.
Let’s do a little exercise. Answer the following questions with thought and honesty.
- Do you believe earning money requires hard work?
- Do you think there is a right way or a better way to earn money?
- How many days a month can you get paid?
- How does paying bills make you feel?
- Does the idea of investing thousands of dollars into yourself scare you?
- Would you feel worthy of charging $5K or $10K for your services or skills?
- Do you feel like people judge you based on your income level?
Admit You Don’t Know What You Don’t Know
I told you this might be a little tough.
Most people haven’t done more than a week’s worth of mindset work in their entire lives, and it shows in their circumstances.
Their ego controls their bank accounts, their emotions, their relationships, their business, their beliefs, etc.
The ego will say things like, “Earning money as a lawyer is more noble and significant than earning money as a housekeeper.”
Really?
Says who?
Society has done an amazing job at brainwashing us into believing there are certain ways to earn money. And that those ways are for an elite few who go to college for a decade or have some insane luck in the athletic, tech, or music departments.
Not true my peeps. Not true.
What we’ve been sold, and told to believe for decades, even centuries is just bogus. When you do the mindset work and become an energetic match for wealth and money, IT WILL FIND YOU.

Get Specific with Your Money Desires
So after you’ve identified your money beliefs, and swept all those skeletons out of the closet so to speak, it’s time to set some BIG intentions.
Money likes direction and focus.
If you haven’t done the work, you’ll set some stupid SMART goals around money. I really don’t like the whole SMART goal thing. Realistic and measurable usually=lack mentality.
Once you’ve done the work, it becomes much easier to set our money goals closer to what we actually desire instead of what society told us is “normal” or “realistic”.
People often want to know what sets the 1% apart from others. Well, while the other 99% are buying into the b.s. money beliefs the world has been selling us for ages, the 1% said, yeah that doesn’t work for me. PASS! And forged their own ideas.
That needs to be what you do. Stop drinking the Kool-aid.
Release Needing to Know How
Instead of thinking, “Well if I do this, and that, and maybe this, I could make $2200/month.”
You should be thinking, “I want to pay off all debts, including my mortgage, travel to South America next year, get a new car, help little Jack with college money, and donate to my favorite charity. I think I’ll set my intention at $9100/month.”…insert whatever your true desires are.
Do you need to have a plan for making $9100? Yeah somewhat of a plan. I help people turn a five-year plan into one so if you have a business idea or one already in the works that isn’t getting stellar results yet, hit me up.
But you do not need to know exactly how you are going to get this money. That limits other opportunities for abundance and funds coming to you.
You should however, be clear about what you plan to do with your funds, for two main reasons.
- 1. Getting specific about how you will spend your dollars will raise your vibration and put you in a peak state. You notice how planning a vacation gets you excited to go. Same with all money plans. Really getting to the nitty-gritty about how you’ll feel when you’re spending money in certain areas of your life brings positive emotions to the forefront. This is good!
- 2. Repeatedly putting your desires out into the Universe by way of a journal, meditation, or visualizing, etc helps align things in your favor. The Universe won’t give you what you’re wishy-washy about. Nor will it give you what you are desperate for. You have to feel like it’s already yours. This is difficult if you haven’t done the mindset work. REALLY difficult.
When people get this practice down, they notice that sometimes what they want shows up in a totally different way than what they’ve imagined.
Like instead of money, you WIN the vacation. Or if you were trying to imagine a new wardrobe, you get some gift certificates to your favorite stores.
Again, you don’t need to know the how. That’s not your role in this.
Level Up In Steps
Okay. Let’s say you’ve done a great job at identifying your money beliefs and you know what to do with them in order to serve your best self. And you’ve now gotten laser focus around your intentions and desires for money.
Your skeletons are now wearing evening gowns and tuxedos.
Time to put the mind and money on a level playing field.
It’s very difficult to feel and step into the emotions of being a high earning individual if you live like a pauper.
You have to be willing to make incremental upgrades to your life that feel like progress.
These upgrades will depend on your starting point. If you’ve been living paycheck to paycheck with tens of thousands in bills, then spending anything on something that isn’t a bill can feel like a stretch.

The plan isn’t to sink you in credit card debt here.
The purpose is to start proving to yourself that you are worthy and deserving of the experiences and desires you have for you life. The purpose is also to show the Universe through tangible and inspired action, that you are now ready for these blessings.
